The Fleggaard Group was founded by Peter J. Fleggaard in 1926 as a small grocery store in the small provincial town of Padborg near the Danish/German border. Today – almost a century later – the Fleggaard Group is an international conglomerate company that engages in diverse activities.

The Group is still family-owned and firmly placed among Denmark’s top-100 companies, establishing itself as one of Denmark’s largest family-owned companies.

Employing over 1,700 committed employees, the Fleggaard Group has an annual turnover of approx. 935m Euros distributed among 11 companies.
